Tiny Mining

I need to go deeper into this, but what is interesting is the predating of the sweatshop by many hundreds of years (or thousands if we count the reference to the Romans) and the equating of cooking with both the human body and with metallurgy or mining/refining – that these are not metaphors but a description of processes which belong in several realms.
